Project Description

Schools Fees Sponsorships

Tirisano Trust has set up funding for sponsorship towards paying school fees for children. The funds are aimed at children of employees and local communities where we operate in, who may not be able to afford school fees due to other financial obligations. The leaners are placed in different schools, from all grades, and are required to make applications on a yearly basis. The objective of the fund is to ensure support, promote and advance sustainable, quality education in our communities and South Africa at large.

It is our firm believe that every child deserves good education otherwise we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes of the past. We are proud of the strides that the children are making, in achieving their school marks. This initiative is an example of how we are achieving the Trust’s objectives.

Premier Bursary Fund

Tertiary education is evidently unaffordable to quite a number of South African families, creating even more socio economic problems within communities. To help alleviate this challenge, Tirisano Trust became an active donor to the Northern Cape Premier’s Education Trust fund and through our donation several children from the province have received funding and are continuing their studies at institutions of higher learning. Educating these children is another way of securing a great future for our countries and fighting poverty, crime and other challenges that may arise as a result of lack of education. As a trust we are committed to giving children access to education, a channel to fulfil their goals and an opportunity to take charge of their future. This is what some of the beneficiaries had to say
