The Tirisano trustees carry the responsibility to ensure beneficiaries are identified and that assets are used appropriately. They have devoted their time to the Trust and come with a wealth of experience and expertise in the running of the trust.

Wendy Buffa-Pace
Wendy Buffa-Pace is appointed as Atlas Copco managing director to the board of directors. She has more than 17 years’ experience within the Atlas Copco Group, having served as Corporate Human Resources and Communications Manager in Sub Saharan Africa for 2 years. In addition to these achievements, she was appointed Vice President of Holding, Sub Saharan Africa, this year on 01 February 2020.
Wendy holds a National Diploma in Personnel Management from the University of Johannesburg, Post Graduate Certificate in Labour Law from the University of South Africa and is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional.
Victor Robert Scott
Victor Robert Scott
Victor is currently responsible for setting up and managing a Regional Center of Excellence responsible for delivering Finance and HR services to Epiroc entities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to this, Victor was the Chief Financial Officer for Epiroc South Africa (Pty) Ltd and Regional Business Controller for Southern Africa (covering Customer Centers in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe). He was legally responsible for all financial, legal, procurement, facilities, security and compliance (including B-BBEE) matters affecting Epiroc South Africa Holdings (Pty) Ltd and all its subsidiaries.
Victor is a member of the Legal Board of Directors of Epiroc South Africa (Pty) Ltd., Public Officer for Epiroc South Africa (Pty) Ltd. and Company Secretary for Epiroc Holdings South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Khumo Mphake (Independent Trustee)

Khumo is currently working as Executive Manager: Organisational Performance at Dangote Cement South Africa, having previously held other positions in the human resource industry dating back to 2003 when her career started. She holds a BA Honors in Psychology.
In June 2018, she joined the Tirisano board of trustees.The impact that the Trust adds to the individual lives of socio-economic development beneficiaries is profound and it gives me great satisfaction to know that I was a part of that process.
She also serves on a board of Trustees at Sentula Mining.

Clifton Taulbert once said: “Taking the time to build community, to get to know your people will have long-lasting benefits” and for Patrick this is an area where he has extensive knowledge and experience, which is to help communities to grow and develop.
He spent most of his working career in the mining industry (Anglo American coal mines and Sentula) where he lead the following:
- Leading and managing the BBBEEE and Social Transformation process
- Liaison with local communities, government and mining companies
- Developing Corporate Social Transformation Team
- Leading the HR function, developing and aligning the HR strategy in line with the business strategy
- Community development projects

Lebogang Matai (Independent Trustee)
Lebogang Matai, is a business woman and a seasoned Communication Specialist. She holds a PMD from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), B:Tech and a National Diploma in Public Relations Management from Tshwane University of Technology. She worked in various blue chip companies for over 11 years as a communication professional, before she ventured into her own communication consulting company.
Lebo was appointed as a Trustee in 2018. Her deep and direct experience in corporate social responsibility is matched by her passion for community development and her expertise in the focus areas: small business, education and building community.
